Yavatmal:- The 'Yuva Samvad' (Youth Dialogue) initiative, conducted by the District Administration from April 21 to June 1 for young competitive exam aspirants and college students in the district, proved to be a true guiding light. The initiative concluded on Monday, June 1, with an insightful guidance session highlighting various fellowship opportunities.

The concluding guidance session, held at the Bachat Bhavan in the District Collectorate, was attended by District Collector Vikas Meena, Deputy Collector Poonam Ahire, Deputy Collector Rahul Tayde, Chief Minister Fellows Vitthal Gadge, Prasad Kulkarni, and Kunal Patil, alongside a large number of students.

Organized under the vision of District Collector Vikas Meena, this month-long initiative featured dedicated guidance sessions every Monday. Over the course of the program, officers from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Forest Service (IFS)—including Robin Bansal, Revayah Dongre, and N. Bhuvneshwar—along with Deputy Collectors Poonam Ahire and Gangadhar Hovale, and Tehsildar Hemkrishna Pisde, interacted with the attendees. Competitive exam aspirants and students turned out in large numbers, showing an enthusiastic response to these sessions.

During the valedictory session of the Yuva Samvad program, Chief Minister Fellows Vitthal Gadge, Prasad Kulkarni, and Kunal Patil interacted directly with the students, guiding them on various fellowships and career paths. During this segment, they shed light on the nature of work undertaken with the district administration under the Chief Minister Fellowship Maharashtra, sharing their real-world experiences within the government system, policy formulation, and implementation.

Furthermore, students were briefed on several prestigious national and international fellowships. Detailed information was shared regarding avenues such as the LAMP Fellowship, Gandhi Fellowship, Young India Fellowship, Teach for India Fellowship, CRISP Fellowship, and the Nehru Fellowship.

Speaking at the event, District Collector Vikas Meena highlighted the immense learning curve, the scope of opportunities, and the significance of working directly within public administration through these fellowships. He also lauded the commendable work being done by the Chief Minister Fellows in his own office. Additionally, Deputy Collectors Poonam Ahire and Rahul Tayde participated in the session, offering motivational guidance to the gathering.

Ultimately, the session successfully went beyond just providing fellowship details; it equipped the students with a broader perspective to look at their future career paths.
