Yavatmal:-The central government’s SIR (Special Information Revision) mapping process is currently underway across all seven Assembly constituencies in the district. So far, 95.48% of the work has been completed in Yavatmal district. During this campaign, election authorities found that 50,191 voters have passed away, while 54,259 voters have relocated. Official reports/panchnamas regarding these voters will be uploaded to the Election Commission’s website, and their names will subsequently be removed from the electoral rolls.

Additionally, out of all voters distributed the SIR forms, 217,488 voters have not yet submitted their forms to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for online processing. Only 13 days remain to complete this process.

In the district, SIR mapping is being conducted for a total of 2,253,236 voters across seven constituencies. For this purpose, 2,578 BLOs have been deployed along with Booth Level Agents (BLAs) from various political parties. Through this network, officials are conducting door-to-door visits to ensure every voter receives an SIR form.

So far, BLOs have distributed SIR forms to 2,151,449 voters, representing a distribution rate of 95.48%. Voters who have received the forms must fill them out and return them to the BLOs to get them submitted online.

After completing the panchnama process, details of the voters will be uploaded online. Information regarding 50,191 deceased voters across the 7 assembly constituencies has come to light, and death certificates are being obtained. Information regarding 54,259 relocated voters is also being verified via panchnama. All panchnamas will be submitted on the Election Commission's portal after August 8, following which these voters' names will be deleted from the electoral roll.

Out of total voters, 1,853,961 voters have successfully submitted their forms online, which accounts for 82.61% of the campaign's progress. However, 217,488 voters are yet to submit their forms online.

A list of voters who failed to submit their SIR forms within the stipulated deadline will be published after August 8. Voters can personally check this list to verify whether their names are included or excluded. Voters who find their names omitted can fill out Form 6 to get re-registered. However, those who do not respond even after the publication of the list will have their names permanently deleted. Therefore, every voter must check the final list and submit their forms immediately.
