Yavatmal:- The Maharashtra State Examination Council, Pune, is conducting the Pre-Upper Primary (Class 5) and Pre-Secondary (Class 8) Scholarship Examinations today. These exams are crucial for identifying merit and shaping the careers of students, especially those from rural areas.In this exam total 4,240 students appeared in which Class 5th: 2,326 students and Class 8th: 1,914 students including. 33 centers across the taluka.

In a significant move to boost rural education, the District Collector of Yavatmal launched the 'Mission Excellence' initiative. Key features of this year's preparation include for the first time, 100% of eligible students are appearing for the exam, examination fees for all students were covered by the Zilla Parishad Cess Fund., Students prepared using the 'Target Peak' Mobile App, which features educational videos and practice tests, Teachers followed a structured plan and conducted several mock tests to track student progress.

Block Education Officer Popeshwar Bhoyar and Exam Coordinator Vidya Vaidya have urged all students to remain calm and focused. Various high-ranking officials will be visiting the centers throughout the day to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.
