Yavatmal: The Maharashtra state government has provided a major relief to women who were declared "ineligible" for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. A new window for E-KYC correction has been opened, allowing rejected applicants to fix errors in their forms. The process will remain open until March 31, 2026.

According to District Women and Child Development Officer Vishal Jadhav, many applicants made mistakes while filling out their E-KYC details before the December 31, 2025, deadline. Many women accidentally selected the wrong options regarding their family's employment status.

The main errors included mistakenly stating that because the scheme rules strictly exclude families with government employees or taxpayers, these simple clerical errors led to thousands of women being disqualified.

 Women whose applications were rejected due to "wrong options" should log in and verify their details.This correction facility is available only until 31 March 2026.

  The government has clarified that this is the last opportunity. No further changes will be allowed after this date.

Officials have urged all eligible women to visit their nearest Setu Kendra, Anganwadi center, or use the official portal to ensure their details are corrected immediately to start receiving their benefits.
